How I got Started
I'm a wife, mother, teacher, yoga instructor and an artist. Each role brings me so much joy and now that life has given me more time to paint I'm motivated and ready to share my art with the world. I paint in acrylic and often use a pallet knife. I love the boldness of the colors and the textures I can get using a knife to paint. It's always a beautiful surprise to see the finished piece and see how the light plays off the colors on the canvas. I draw inspiration from the colors in nature. The beauty of flowers and how they bring so much vibrance to any space always bring a smile to my face. I wanted to capture this beauty by keeping the flower alive forever on my canvas in both painted and pressed form. I like to use bright, bold and earthy tones in my art. Each piece is unique, painted with passion and from my heart. I have so much of my life's journey and emotions attached to each piece and I hope each piece will be cherished and loved as much as I've enjoyed painting it. I love to paint, and it is a great joy when I finish a project.
