This being said, if you wish to install this version, download and apply the package, and install it on the system. Also check back with our website whenever possible, to stay up to date with latest releases.

The package comes with a protective film for the touch screen (part of the Switchblade UI) and the install guides. As far as the installation proper, you will need two free USB 2.0 ports, which shouldn't be an issue if you have an updated PC. You'll also need 200 MB of free space on your hard drive. Razer has proprietary software called Razer Synapse that synchs your keyboard, mouse and game device configuration settings in the cloud. One has to download Razer Synapse 2.0 first and install it (Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 are all supported, according to the latest website information). The Razer installer requires the install of Microsoft .NET Framework 4 beforehand. Razer Synapse 2.0 includes the Razer driver updates for their complete line of products (which is why you need all that space), and configuration software to personalize your gaming configuration settings so you can save them in the cloud. It took closer to 20 minutes from download to complete install time on both Windows Vista and Windows 7. But once done, Synapse automatically updated the device drivers so I didn't have to do it manually. This is most useful for those people who have more than one Razer device, obviously. There has been some critique of the "cloud configuration" model, but I found the cloud configuration synch convenient. It adds up to more time for gaming and less time spent searching for driver updates for your gaming mice and keyboard. There does seem to be a bug with the installation of Synapse on Windows Vista, where the Dynamic Adaptive Tactile Keys were not enabled, and didn't light up. When I used the Razer firmware updater for the Razer DeathStalker Ultimate, the keyboard stopped working, and I was forced to reinstall the Synapse 2.0 software to make it work again. In changing platforms and using Windows 7, there were no issues with installation and updating and the DATKs illuminated as they were supposed to. The UI design of the Razer Synapse software is cool and minimalist looking, but clicking through the interface becomes awkward at times, and I think improvements could be made to make navigation through the various tabs a more fluid user experience.

Disconnect your Razer product before uninstalling razer synapse and in device manager.Reboot your PC.Download Synapse once again - make sure you dont have any files in program files etc.Install Synapse - don't launch it after the install.Reboot your PC manually. When Synapse will start to update - then do this.If not , run it manually - DO NOT CONNECT YOUR RAZER DEVICE !After an update - reboot your pc. If it does not update - leave it and run synapse.Register an account if you dont have one, register your product /warranty etc.Upgrade to Surround PRO if you have an option - everything without connecting your headphones. After all installs and upgrades you can manage setting and optimalization for your headphones. After you did all the changes to settings you can connect your razer device - synapse will dissapear, but settings will be saved - even if it dissapears. If would you like to change any setting for your headphones, then you have to disconnect them, run the synapse, change the customization(bass volume, colours , anything) , then leave the synapse opened and connect your razer device.Same thing will occur - synapse will dissapear but setting will be saved.
